HDX-1000 power supply doesn't work anymore?

my A100 and HDX have different connector sizes IIRC. I assume A110 was same as A100 and therefore not the same as HDX?

I looked at that adapter and I wasn't sure if it would work?

There a number of places to get a 12v 2.5 amp psu. You just need to look via a search engine. There are also multi voltage/multi adapter versions available via Amazon and others.

Also, berating the forum community for not coming back with an answer is probably not the best way to get help in future. Especially when there are very few members who use HDX.

Either get the spec of your broken one and make a new one, or ask someone like a TV Repair shop or electricians to repair it.

The power supply says: Switching power supply input 100-240V 50/60hz 1A(max) Output 12.OV=3.0A

As far as I know you can get anything with exactly 12V and 3A or a little more), but avoid overly cheap ones unless you have a good rebuild value on your house insurance Try to stick to a brand name if possible.

And of course if the connector isn't the same you'll have to reuse you old one or get an adaptor

I only have HDX-900 here and I can power it up using the A-100/110/200/210 power adaptor.

I don't have HDX-1000 to verify, but if IIRC, HDX-900 and HDX-1000 and like A-100 and A-110. Therefore I think both of them can use the same power adaptor.

OK did so see my earlier post
I *think* the connectors are different sizes but the voltage and amperage are the same.
So you can move the connector over. Either by cutting the wire or resoldering at the power block (whichever is safest, neatest, easiest for you etc)

I did see it, Thank you I think I'll buy one of the a110 adapters and then cut the connector off my hdx then and put connector on new adapter with electrical tape. Sounds good to me
