NFS and MKV x.264 Decoding
I'm experiencing something very strange with my A110.
On one NFS NAS I am using FreeBSD with NFSv3 and everything decodes properly. DivX, H.264, MKV containers, etc. I have another NAS which is Ubuntu which supports NFS v3 and v4. When I connect to the Ubuntu NAS (v4 or v3 enabled) I am unable to play MKV files. But if I use the same files on the FreeBSD machine it works fine ! Additionally I can play .avi, XVID files fine off of either so I'm sure it's not a permission issue. In attempting to resolve this I use nfs-tcp too, but this didn't help. Has anyone had this problem of know of the correct work around ? Can I get onto the PCH to see what might be going wrong with the decoding ? |
