AVI Audio Issues...
I have a c300 and when I play my AVI movies files, the audio goes slowly out of sync as the movie progresses. The same file plays fine on all my other computers and devices. I would have to restart my PCH and then play it from the beginning and it will be fine. My PCH is hooked up to my Denon sound processor. I don't know what is wrong. Can anyone chime in? IF you need more info, let me know. All the firmware updates have been applied and my PCH is up to date running a 2tb harddrive. Thanks!
Here is information on the AVI file:

All files are doing this and I am connected to my AVR via HDMI. It only occurs in my PCH and not any other player or computer.

RE: AVI Audio Issues...
what is the audio sync setting on your AVR and on the A300?

PCH-A100/A210/C200/A400 500GB EXT3 HDD<-->HDMIv1.3<-->Onkyo TX-NR1010<-->HDMIv1.3<-->Panasonic TX-P46S10
13 NTFS USB drives on 3 hubs attached to the A300, 3 Seagate blackarmour NAS 3TB

The inability to setup and configure the NMT should not be disguised as a defect of the box

I don't have an A300 but have been thinking of getting one for a friend so I'm interested in the outcome. Have you tried putting this file in a MKV container ie MkvMerge Gui to see if that makes any difference? No re encoding involved. Maybe even converting the DTS track to AC3? A possible workaround but may help in isolating what's going on...

RE: AVI Audio Issues...
Well.... the majority uses the MKV container for that type of AV file, so there is little experience With AVI and HD AV.
I guess there is a reason behind that fact...

RE: AVI Audio Issues...
Yep and RED_BIRD was an internet download that had issues in the first place from memory.

Use this to change from an AVI into a MKV:-
