[Subtitles] not showing external srt when mkv has internal subs
I have an A-110 and when I play mkv's with internal subs that also have an external srt file with exactly the same name I can't see the external subtitles, just the internal subs from the MKV container.
I would liek to see the external srt subtitles. My solution is to remove the internal subs using MKVTOOLNIX. Once I remove them I can easily see the external subs - they play automatically. Aren't the external srt subs supposed to be played by default over internal MKV subs? Flat Panel Plasma LG 60PM6700 Audio/Video Receiver Yahama RX-V-559 Media Streamer PopcornHour C-200,A-210 |

RE: [Subtitles] not showing external srt when mkv has internal subs
Same problem here. Using latest firmware.
EDIT: A quick solution is using tsMuxeR to remove the internal subtitles. It is a bug nevertheless. |

RE: [Subtitles] not showing external srt when mkv has internal subs
I have a .mkv - with a .srt,.subs in the same directory. All have the same compliant 8.3 filename. I can play the subs with VLC, but they don't seem to play on a A110, if I choose the subtitles option.
Any ideas why? How can I get it work? Thanks. |
