Network media.... not all shown
Hello, I have a USB connected drive to my laptop. I shared 2 big movie folders adding them to the Video library in windows 7.
From my A300, I go to network library, I see the machine, but only 1 of the folders and with a 30-40% of the files.... is there a way to force a "refresh"? Thanks! |

RE: Network media.... not all shown
For the PCH, using windows media sharing is the wrong way to do it. It's also known under the names DLNA and UPnP. Many file types will not work if you use this.
You should use windows file sharing instead. Basically you right click on a folder you want to share, and select "Share" from the popup menu. Unfortunately Windows 7 introduced some new security features that made sharing like this a bit harder, but you can (and should) still do it. There is a guide in the Wiki, which you can find a link to at the top of every page. Here's the article: http://www.networkedmediatank.com/wiki/i...h_Windows7 |
