Different download locations

Hi,

I've just got my PCH A300 and am learning about it!

Is is it possible from the standard torrent client or transmission to choose a different download folder each time? If not, I think the torrent function may be useless to me as I like to have separate folders for things!

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Please tell me how you choose a different download for each torrent when using torrents on any standard PC.

Second where do you expect or want the NMT torrent to download to? Why is there this need for changing download folder locations.

If we could understand why then we may be able to steer you to either some more suitable software or some postprocessnig scripts or options. Or even a better suggestion for your file location for downloading.

Well on utorrent before starting the download it allows me to choose where to download it to. I have a different folder for tv shows and films and then there are folders within that for each show.

I'd just like the NMT torrent to download to a place I choose if possible.

You can simply move the file to where you want it after it's downloaded. That's how I use uTorrent also.

If you move it and don't tell your torrent client you won't be seeding it though right? Do you use utorrent on your pc to download to your popcorn hour?

No, if I use uTorrent I download to a disk on my PC. I wait until I've seeded enough before moving/watching.

i am using http://code.google.com/p/transmisson-remote-gui/ to manage Transmission on the PCH.

It is possible to set the download path at the start of a torrent
