M2TS appears in the Wall after scanning (C300)
Hello,
My structure for BD looks correct Movie Movie/BDMV/STREAM/XXX.M2TS Movie/CERTIFICATE No other files than M2TS but the scan doesn't consider this structure like a BD and take into account the M2TS. Than the result, as you can imagine, not suitable. Any idea ? |

RE: M2TS appears in the Wall after scanning (C300)
Read the naming thread in the Guides Section and make sure that you have the correct naming and file levels.
You should see only one entry provided that it is in fact a valid BD structure that can be read. The fact that it is scanning further down suggests either you have not setup the naming/structure correctly, used a third party app, or the actual BDMV is not available to be read. You are using SMB/NFS arent you? I think it's the case and I read the convention naming. Yes the folder are in Synology and I did the test with both SMB/NFS and each movie have a NFO file. I did the test with NMJV2 (means directly with my PCH-C300) not working (M2TS visible). I did the test with YAMJ/TOMMY it's working (it found the name of the movie). Then for my PCH-300 the folder naming is not recognised but for my MAC/YAMJ it's OK. I precise no other files than M2TS no index.bdvm for example. Again, this is the strcuture MovieName --BDMV -----STREAM ---------XXXX.M2TS --CERTIFICATE Any ideas ? |

RE: M2TS appears in the Wall after scanning (C300)
I'll check when I get home as I do have some BD ISO and BDMV Bluray backups in my NMJv2 database.
Check your backups and in BDMV look for movieindex.obj etc. as they should be there IIRC. What setting do you have set for playback. Can you drill down inside video_ts or BDMV folders or not? If you can then change the setting so that the player autolaunches as soon as you press 'enter' on a Video_ts or BDMV structure. Then try a scan. If that works then its a Bug that unless you set to autolaunch for file structure of playlist type containers they do not scan in NMJ. RE: M2TS appears in the Wall after scanning (C300)
I'll take a guess that the scanning software requires movieindex.obj for details on container, resolution etc. for NMJ.

Hello Cris,
Yes movie index.obj is mandatory. I just did the test and this is the solution. Thank you for your support. Hello Cris, Yes index.bdmv is mandatory. I just did the test and this is the solution. Thank you for your support. |
