Audio stopps when FF and time skipping
So i posted this over a year ago. but never got it to work without workaround, it did work before some firmware update, but ive been hoping for a FW that will solve this issue. cause muxing isnt a good way to "fix" this problem. and answers i got was its tha AVIs fault, but it worked before the 2011 jan somewhat release. so i still think this is a C200 BUG. pls fix it! i added my thread below but i just saw that i never posterd it as a bug
-------------------------------------- audio works perfect when starting a movie, but as soon as i skip time or FF it goes silent. seems to be in HD movies what i found so far. AND i tried downgrading to october 8 FW (02-03-101006-21-POP-408-000.zip) same problem there what ive seen so far its only on movied in 720p Dolby Digital MPEG4 movies ive noticed no sound is only on Dolby Digital MPEG4 movies! For example Inception (2010) BRRip XvidHD 720p-NPW How To Train Your Dragon 2010 BRRip XvidHD 720p-NPW Black Death 2010 BRRip XvidHD 720p-NPW Iron Man 2 (2010) BRRip XvidHD 720p-NPW these works fine and they have DTS sound Cargo.2009.720p.BluRay.x264-TiTANS Iron.Man.2.1080p.BluRay.DTS.x264-EXQUiSiTE http://www.networkedmediatank.com/showth...?tid=48423 |

RE: Audio stopps when FF and time skipping
Spot the commonality to the files that do not play.
They are all the same release crew, should tell you something and at the very least make you open your mind tot he fact that it may actually be a case of garbage in garbage out. You should not have posted this as a bug as it is not one. The exact reason was detailed in your linked thread. Just because you may not like the answer does not make it or the player wrong. A400: SSD+SD Card(Apps), HDMI A300: USB(Apps), HDMI C200: USB(Apps), BD SH-B083L(SB01), HDMI CAT6 Wired Network: TV TX-P42G20, HP ProCurve 1400-8G, Netgear GS-608/605, Synology CS407 |

RE: Audio stopps when FF and time skipping
there is lots of firmware updates and some of them are a switch to a new sdk straight from sigma which means there is no going back. and sigma has dropped support for the chip inside the 200 series so if they broke it again they wont fix it. AVI is really a dying format mkv/mp4 have pretty much replaced it.
