I had the mother of all dns problems during the beta and they did a lot of work and I'm really surprised it's a problem for you because once fixed nobody ran into any problems.

I was using dhcp, but I manually added googles 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 dns servers. Make sure you have dns1 and dns2 setup and I would reboot after you change it and check it's still set that way.

Also if you didn't factory reset, it's going to see like a waste of time but do it. It could be old settings interfering.

Other than that, I'm thinking maybe you should start a new thread for this problem and lets get more information on your full setup including brand of router, etc...

you could try maybe to flash back to the stepstone then load factory defaults and then flash again this firmware?

This one is odd. perhaps werners suggestion to downgrade, factory reset, upgrade and then see what happens. There was 1 tester who did this for other reasons and it helped them.

Also don't forget nmt is a separate upgrade if your running nmt at all (without csi apps). I woudlnt' expect it to interfere but you never know.

When you do a Factory Reset if does a number of things that you must reset:

Your Network Settings:
It changed from Manual to Auto, change it back to Manual if using static ip.
It changes the static ip itself, change it back to your static ip.
It changes the subnet (255.255.0.0), change it back (255.255.255.0).
It changes the DNS servers it changes then to openDNS change them back to your DNS servers.
Double check all of the settings are correct.

Your NMT Apps:
It 'forgets' your Media Drive location. Go into Settings > Maintenance > NMT SEtup Wizard and specify your Media Drive again. This is where you download and known as your /share.
It changes the device name to PCH-C200, change it to what you have yours called.

Your Video/Audio:
It changes a lot of settings so change your Video Output, AutoFramerate, Colourspace setting and Auidio settings as required.

I've made factory reset several times in the past and I have checked evrything again this time, but it's not the culprit.

You can't downgrade below the stepstone firmware. Use the recovery instructions on the support site (bottom half of the post after the---- line) http://support.popcornhour.com/article.aspx?id=1089

I have just installed the latest firmware by USB and I have no audio from flac mp3 wav mpeg exept Dolby Digital and Dts(via HDMI). Any suggestions?

Check your audio settings, did you factory reset?

No not at all!

hit the volume button on the remote. after the factory it could be down to -15 or even muted since it only effect pcm sources
