Does this release (or a future one) have plans for an audio menu where you can adjust the audio sync on the fly?
I see there is something listed in the release notes, but no details on what it includes?

Have a number of MP4s which play fine on other players, but are way out of sync on the C-200.
Having this option (like XBMC has had for some time) would be the icing on the cake.

I don't know if this is what you mean, but if you press the setup key at the top of the remote while watching a movie, you can resynch audio while playing

Xleon : took me a while to figure it out too ;-)
Also note that the sync setting are kept between movies.
Meaning that when you want to watch another movie afterwards, you have to reset the audio synch to 0

During playback:
Press once to display popup then left/right to change between Video & Audio
Choose Video to adjust Brightness, Contrast, Hue, and Saturation settings
Choose Audio to adjust the soundtrack audio sync in steps of 50ms up to a max of plus/minus 2 secs.

Everythings goes fine. Thx.

But:

-Lord of the rings (extended edition) BD still doesn't play (unit freezes after language selection--->Italian) as before.
-In Apps section I have the spinning wheel and no content appers.

Everything else works as it should.

With LOTR I have tried every possible setting (simple-bd, File view, etc.) no luck, same results.

If I haven't updated to the StepStone firmware mentioned in 1st post, which version will it attempt to download when I go to Setup->Maintenance->Check for firmware update ?

Firmware 03-04-110530-21-POP-408 or 03-04-120517-21-POP-408-000 ?

yes it will install the stepstone 03-04-110530-21-POP-408 first then

I got an error message: "The firmware image is invalid".

Firmware 03-04-110530-21-POP-408 has to be installed before you are able to flash this Firmware
I can't update my C200 because the "03-04-110520-21-POP-408.zip" only contains "apps.nmt".

Could you explain what must I do? (If possible step by step)

hmmmm if you click on the link posted at the first page it will tell you everything you need todo, the last firmware was a stepstone and only available over online update, so you can't flash the stepstone with USB.
