NFS scan path problem with Oversight 2.0-testing-r2342
I have a C200 with the latest firmware and nmt apps. I have a Linux computer running Mandriva 2011 acting as a server with 10 1.5tb hard drives for media files. I have the drives mounted to /media and a nfs share setup for the /media folder. On the pch-200 I have a share setup using nfs named NAS url is 192.168.0.105/media. I am able to access all the drive with the pch-200 and watch all files without any problems. On the Oversight setup screen tried using just "NAS" in the watch path and "NAS" in the scan path but Oversight did not detect the share scan returned nothing. I also tried using the ip address as well with the same results. Any ideas what the problem might be?

I did make a point of mentioning that the new automount would cause issues when the firmware was in Beta. It broke my oversight back then.
Just after that my C200 blew it's PSU and I never got a chance to look at it because I had to restore to a previous firmware when my psu was replaced. PCH A-110 PCH A-210 PCH C-200 |

Yup - I was on a very old fw and going through upgrade process now - getting MAC unblocked.
I do get slightly nervous upgrading firmware on anything that would cost more than 50 quid to replace ! TV is the worst! Oversight: Jukebox | FeedTime: Automatic nzbs |

RE: NFS scan path problem with Oversight 2.0-testing-r2342
I've put up a fix for this http://code.google.com/p/oversight/downloads/list
I'm still testing through but I've done a scan & playback from NFS & SMB shares with passwords to my C200 I haven't regression tested the A110 yet. So I'd only recommend this update to people with the new C200 firmware until I finish testing.. Oversight: Jukebox | FeedTime: Automatic nzbs |

Can confirm that the new version works, scanning right now and will also report later.
For the ones that have similar setup and problems with me: - make sure to do a "Reset to factory settings" after firmware upgrade. For me it could not scan any nas and only after resetting and recreating all links to my NASses it worked with this patched version. Thanks lordy! RE: NFS scan path problem with Oversight 2.0-testing-r2342
Well my system finished scanning over night it found over 2250 items most were identified correctly and most of the artwork is correct. I will need to do some cleanup and renaming to get every thing correct and may need to create a few nfo files for the troublesome items to get them correct.
Thank you Lordy for your hard work on Oversight and fixing the problem with the new firmware quickly. Shadowtester |

RE: NFS scan path problem with Oversight 2.0-testing-r2342
Mine finished scanning. All perfect without any issues (had all files renamed and proper). It seems to me that oversight now switches to the different NAS shortcuts more easily. With older firmware and older oversight of course, after scanning 1 or max 2 nas, I had to perform a rescan on the rest of the nas. This time it scanned all my nas in a row (5 nas - qnap and intel).
