don't bother trying to fix your other problems, until you run yamj with eversion as tyhe skin, you can't use yamj on the 300 and it'll never find a working jukebox.

I'll try that.. I used the 'gfb107' folder and assumed that was the eversion folder.

No I don't mind the things in the skins folder.. I just thought since it seems like YAMJ is the full version to be run on a PC, and that putting it on a NAS we are only using a few files out of it that there would be a NAS version of YAMJ sort of thing stripped down. I don't know what the YAMJ on the PCH is looking for to be able to boot.. if it's the index.html file or what... it could be made simpler but that's not really your prob.

it's looking for eversion. your on a flash only player you need a flash skin.

That seems to have been the issue. One thing with your skin and the Evhell one, is they seem to be slightly too large for the screen.. is there a size property for how it appears as a whole on the screen?

Sounds like your finally there.

As for the screen size, try set overscan to true in the esettings file.

Where is the esettings file? moviejoukbox.properties is the only one that looks like I can change settings..

your a little past qnap things and now into general YAMJ and eversion settings.. you should really open a new thread that's on topic. Less confusion to the next person that needs qnap help and more people will know what your asking for help with to get better answers.

Probably a stupid question but does YAMJ on Qnap provide a similar automated system to that which Oversight provides?

I have been using Oversight because it automatically scans and updates the jukebox accordingly.

YAMJ I believe had manual inetraction which is why I never went down that path. However if it was possible to have YAMJ on my Qnap and it updated in a similar fashion to how Oversight does then I would look to endure some setup headache to get it working.

you run yamj, it updates the jukebox. you can run yamj however often you want in any automated fashion.

Just need to figure out what automated fashion you prefer.
