Video Zoom Feature
There seems to be a small issue with the Video Zoom feature and mkv playback in the new FW release.
I need another user to verify though as I only have the one C200 to test with. This only relates to mkv files with me as that is all that I use my unit for. I have my video zoom setting always set to "fit to screen". When playing a movie however, i sometimes reduce the zoom to 95% to correct for screen overscan. This all works fine, the trouble presents itself after the zoom change, if you stop playback and restart the picture is suddenly zoomed to "full screen" even though no settings have physically changed. And this persists across all movies until a reboot of the system is performed. Sometimes the issue even persists across reboots and the only way to get rid of the problem is to start movie playback, go to the zoom feature, choose original size, choose fit to screen and then reboot. I for one prefer to watch films in their correct AR, not blown up to full screen with no black bars. Can someone else check to see if this issue occurs on their system? It would be greatly appreciated as this is starting to become really frustrating. |
