RE: Reserved IP
If your wireless the mac could have changed,m there was an update where they made it match the unit.. Just go into your router and see if it matches still and adjust if it doesn't.. It's in your router, should be easy to google for instructions on how your router does this.

RE: Reserved IP
if your router assigns the same ip to your computers/mediaboxes set to auto ip in c200
automatic the same ip from a router is based on mac addresses and the latest firmware update didnt change the c200's mac address so you will get the same ip as before. if not do a factory reset on the c200, turn it off, reboot router -> wait till its back on -> start c200 and check all the settings |

RE: Reserved IP
Ahhhh DHCP, dead easy to understand.
![]() Your DHCP server (for most home users it's in your router), assigns IP addresses to your devices when they power on, IP addresses are assigned from a pool (normally something like 192.168.0.1 to 192.168.0.254). If you set your device to auto then your device will receive a random one (from the pool) that will be leased for a period of time. If you set your device to static/manual then your device will decide what IP it chooses. Technically it's bad practice to assign static IP address that are in the DHCP pool, as another device on your network could be given the same IP. Then there are reservations, that are still assigned by DHCP, but give specific IP addresses to specific devices (MAC addresses). Samsung PS51d8000, Onkyo 509, Tannoy EFX5.1, Xbox 360, Popcornhour C200, Sky+HD, Wii, Harmony one |
