File operation hard crashes c-300
This problem is driving me nuts! I have a "\Download" folder and I've been using it to store all my torrents into for a long time (same drive I was using in my C-200). Suddenly whenever I copy files over the network to the folder it hard crashes the PCH. If I copy the files to another directory there isn't any issues. I'm baffled. Is there a scan disk feature I can use on the C-300? Alternately can you scan disk on a windows computer somehow? Such a strange bug but I'm inclined to believe that there is some disk error, but I'm only guessing. I've had to reset the PCH over 50 times now and I'm truly ready to throw it out the window. I could just use another folder but then I need to change a bunch of other computers (4 iPad's, 3 iPhones, 3 local PC's, few friends FTP computers...) that "talk" to that directory.

RE: File operation hard crashes c-300
you can scan it on your pc but takes a little work/knowledge. You need to download gparted live located here http://gparted.sourceforge.net/livecd.php do either usb or cdrom, Assuming you know how to boot your computer from either one. remove the drive from the c300 connect it to pc, remove power to any normal PC drives to make it easier. boot your computer using gparted live cdrom or usb stick, it will load linux and you can right click the disc in the first menu and hit check disck.
