MKV or MP4 on A110

I have been playing 1080p 25fps full HD MKV movies(home videos) without any problems
these are H264 encodes with AC3 audio

however if i convert them to MP4 H264 AAC audio they do not stream fluidly anymore.

Why is this?

i converted without reencoding so the videostream is the same.
Can de A110 not handle AAC audio fast enough.

the reason i want this is that i want 1 format for both the A110 and the Ipad.

with the ipad it is the other way around(mp4 good, mkv not fluidly)

more then likely you are missing a setting and its guessing wrong FPS, what are you using to make your mp4, as a test run a non working mp4 through mp4box and see if it plays smooth.

i am using xvid4psp to make the mp4
i make al my mkv's also with xvid4psps and the play rock solid
i will try mp4box but on my pc and my ipad no prolbems, even with the full hd stuff.

could it perhaps be an overload of data on the a110
what i see happening on the A110(when i use the info screen while playing) when things go wrong is that the data from the videostream disappears. before that the rate is about 40-45Mbits/sec

so when playing smooth video 35Mbit/sec/audio 190Kbits/sec
after the video starts giving problems(not smooth, no audio anymore)
-/audio 190Kbits/sec
could it be that the datastream is so big that the A110 gives up?
