Java error when running MyYAMJ.cmd
Trying to update my database and understand that I should just need to run the MyYamj.cmd file to pick up any changes.
However everytime I run it I get a 'Java' is not recognised as an internal or external comman, operable program or batch file Any ideas as to how I would overcome this? Thanks |

RE: Java error when running MyYAMJ.cmd
As far as I am aware it is still installed, leastwise I have never uninstalled it and I use a lot of sites that depend on it. Will give it a reinstall just in case and will comment back.
reinstalled, but that didn't solve it Then I had an epiphany and checked the system path, and the path to java.exe wasn't in it, so have added it an the batch file is running now. |

Then I installed the latest beta version, went through the config, and got the same java error. By "system path" what file did you edit? By "system path" what file did you edit? in windows 7, right click "computer" and select properties. in the left pane select "advanced system settings. At the bottom left of the window that pops up, select "environment variables". in the window that pops up, select path in the "system variables" window and click edit. Scroll to the end of the line and add a ; and type in the desired path to add.ie ";c:\java\bin\" yamj-2.9-r3708 W/Eversion r0179/EvZap/Legion, PCH A-300, Samsung 59" 3D Plasma TV - TP-Link 1Gb 8-port managed switch, 64 Bit I5-gen 3,Win 7 Quad core , 16Gb Ram, 10 Tb Synology NAS raid 5 drive.
