[YAMJ] [SOLVED] YAMJ/Eversion TV Show ISO naming Question / Help!

I've been using my Dune D1 with Zappiti as jukebox. I've got several ripped TV Shows with over 300 episodes. I've ripped all of them as ISO files, and I named them as followed:

House / Season 1 / House S01E01 S01E02 S01E03 S01E04.iso. Zappiti recognizes this and rips the metadata with no issues.

I currently bought a PCH-A210 as my secondary media player for the master bedroom to replace my AIOS. I was wondering if YAMJ / Eversion will be able to recognize the same ISO file name?

I am trying to fine a common file naming that can be use with both Zappiti and YAMJ / Eversion.

Note: I did a search about this on this forum and mpcclub as well, and I was not able to find the answer. If the file name cannot be use, I will have to re-rip all of my TV Show into single file rather than multiple file, and I really do not want to do that.

Just an fyi, syabas renamed the hardware NMJ, but nmj forum where you posted is for the NMJ Jukebox software built in. YAMJ is different.

The naming scheme that should work across all tools and htpc software, not just your couple listed is S##E##E## or in your example: House S01E01E04.iso and it means episode 1-4. If that doesn't work in Zappiti they need to add it. You may also run into path length problems with filenames that long in the future so generally it's a good idea to stay compact is names.

Thanks. My PCH-A210 was delivered today. I had some network difficulties trying to see my shares under my unRAID server, but I was able to figure it out.

I will start testing tomorrow with YAMJ. Thanks for the link. It appears I might have to rip my TV Shows in single files.

that's not the case unless you want to jump to a specific episode from the index. YAMJ will quite happily index multi episode tv shows as pointed out by accident

Well, the issue I've got is that Zappiti and YAMJ use two different types of TV Show ISO naming. I want to have one common name in between so it works for both.

I might end up just not scrapping my TV Shows, and just leaving them as file name only or I might try just doing the cover picture. We'll see. I don't have much time right now for testing until tomorrow.

The problem here is pretty simple and converting how you want your media is not the best solution...

s##e## s##e## for tv show multiple names is not by any form standard. while not unheard of, if you look at all the htpc software, tools for media files, pvrs, auto-transfer scripts/tools, none of them will write out a multiple episode in this fashion.

My thought here is this is not the only numbering that zappiti supports, do you have a list of that they do. Have you asked them to add in the standard s##e##e## format?
