A-300 freezing over time

I am having an issue with my new A-300. Lately when I am watching a movie, it plays fine for a while, maybe 20 minutes, then the video starts going VERY choppy and the audio goes choppy as well. I can turn it off for a while and then I can play it fine again, but only about 5 minutes before it happening again. It does not appear to be an issue with the file, because my other A-300 works fine. Does this sound like an overheating problem? Maybe I should look into an RMA. Any suggestions? Thanks.

any more information about how your files are stored or what else you might be running on the a300? internal drive? network shares? any usenet or torrents going at the same time?

It never hurts to contact support, it's free to be sure it's not a physical problem and another way to let them know of a possible software problem.

My files are stores on my PC and streamed over the network. I have an internal HD, but it is not being used at the moment. I have the nmt apps installed, but they are all "stopped". Nothing is running on my PC that should cause any slowness in my network. I tried blowing a can of air into the PCH while it was failing, it didn't seem to help. I will un-install the HD and do a factory reset and see if that helps at all.

I uninstalled HD and did a factory reset...Already I noticed some improvements. When fast forwarding before reset, it took about 10 seconds before playback would resume, now it is almost instant! I have my fingers crossed, I will post back if the problem is resolved.

What will that command do? I hate to accidentally make things worse when I might be on the right track.
