RE: Game of Thrones (BluRay) won't play

There is definitely something odd with these discs. Originally I could not get them to play (past the FBI warning) on my theater room PCH-200 with the most current firmware or my living room PCH-200 with one version back from that. Then my newest PCH-200 flat out died (LCD screen black and won't boot) and I am sending it back to PCH (if they ever answer my request for an invoice that is). So I took my living room PCH-200 and moved it into my theater room to replace the dead one and after updating the firmware it is playing ALL the Game of Thrones BluRay ISOs without any problem at all - frecking odd stuff. All I know is that I have a library of over 650 BluRay ISOs (including every other HBO series ever made) and I have never had issues like I have with these 5 HBO discs. Mine were also from Netflix. |

So.. You are playing ISO ok. I wonder if it is ISO vs Folder Rip. or anydvd settings.

RE: Game of Thrones (BluRay) won't play
Try ripping with AnyDVD set to remove encryption and region codes.
Sometimes with AnyDVd its easy to just backup and produce a copy rather than a rip. Do the rip rather than backup and take note of your AnyDVD settings to compare vs. others. A400: SSD+SD Card(Apps), HDMI A300: USB(Apps), HDMI C200: USB(Apps), BD SH-B083L(SB01), HDMI CAT6 Wired Network: TV TX-P42G20, HP ProCurve 1400-8G, Netgear GS-608/605, Synology CS407 |

RE: Game of Thrones (BluRay) won't play
The real concern is not that the rip doesn't work. Tee concern is that the actual discs themselves do not work. Might be time to pick up a cheapo BD player just for that.
