Can I copy from USB to HDD via remote?
Hi,
I've been looking around to see if i can copy from a USB stick to my internal NMT HDD using just the remote or a APP but have had no luck finding this info. I don't have network sorted yet in my house so would like to do this. Any tips? cheers |

filemode button on remote.. or the right side menu if you're on a 300 series..
PCH-A100/A210/C200/A400 500GB EXT3 HDD<-->HDMIv1.3<-->Onkyo TX-NR1010<-->HDMIv1.3<-->Panasonic TX-P46S10 13 NTFS USB drives on 3 hubs attached to the A300, 3 Seagate blackarmour NAS 3TB The inability to setup and configure the NMT should not be disguised as a defect of the box |

Browse to the file you want to copy on the USB stick.
Click "File mode" on remote. Choose "add file to list" and click ok on remote Browse to internal hd where you want the file. Click "file mode" on remote. Choose "copy listed items here" and click ok on remote. Wait until ready, and you are done. |

Copy may fail if directory or file names contain strange/accent characters such as in "don't". At least this is the case with PCH C-200 for all firmware versions I know. You may notice errors like "invalid source" or "file does not exist".
So I always use my PC to copy files to avoid this annoying problem.
