C200 FTP Wiredconnection: EAI_NODATA

Hey guys,

I have been having some irritating problems with my C200 getting an FTP connection going.
When i bought it a year or so ago it all was working like a sunshine, i loved this machine...

But then the problems started.
First i had a wireless connection with a dongle from Popcorn themselves.
At one point for no reason that i could figure out, the c200 did not get an ip connection going.
I toyed around with my Router D-Link DIR-655 it would then give my Popcorn a new IP but i would get a FTP error saying EAI_NODATA.

So after weeks i decided to try the wired way, so its hooked up wired now.
Gets an IP easy.... But still i get the no EAI_NODATA error...

I'm beyond wits now, I'm lost and have no clue how to solve it.
Would any of you be willing to take a stab at it?

If you need more details i'm willing to provide.
Anything to get this anoyying bug out of the way.
