Edid problem a110?
Hi,
I'm trying to stream 720/1080 via Actiontec wireless hd transmitter over HDMI. Quality of image and sound no problem. However, the actiontec looses the signal to the A110 after about a minute or two, then restarts, image comes back. Can't get rid of this problem. I suspected it had to do with edid, but I set up a HDMI detective and I still have problems with the A110. I use the same setup for a mac mini and it works after setting up the HDMI detective. ps3 no problem at all, even without the hdmi detective. Is the A110 too old for this? Are there hardware/software limitations for doing what I want to be doing with the A110? How / if possible could I fix it? I have a samsung lcd display that I try to stream to. grateful for all input |

RE: Edid problem a110?
The A120 should not have an EDID problem as it never used it, Does it only lose the signal once? or does it happen over and over? Could it be a delayed frame rate sync.

RE: Edid problem a110?
ok. so edid it out then. it looses the signal over and over. frame rate sync is that a setting onthe A110, right?

RE: Edid problem a110?
Tried changing the settings for framerate sync on the A110 but that doesn't change anything.
The actiontec looses the signal from the transmitter constantly, but only with the A110, not the Ps3 or the mac mini... |
