Western Digital My Book Studio 3TB compatible with A300?

Hey I am not very experienced at this at all, I have just bought a
Western Digital My Book Studio 3TB External Hard Drive with Metal Enclosure hard drive expecting it to work on my WDTV live media centre. however it does not, I was wondering if I bought one of these players would it work on the A300? I also have all of my films already on the HDD will that be a problem? Many Thanks in advance!

It's not on the list yet as being tried:

But their are 3 and 4 TB drives on there. If I was a betting man, Id say it will work since the Passport and Digital Elements appear too, but only one way to know. What format are your movies in now?

Also, if you try the drive and it works OK, let the folks here know so they can add it to the list.

Looks like you should be OK. The main issue I have seen with the A-300 is it having issues with movies that have Seamless Branching, when the older models do not. I'd assume this is something that will be improved, and the only recommendation right now is to put your movies into M2TS format. Id not sweat it though unless you run into a problem flick.
