A300 - Failed to download NMT???

need help everyone. i can't install the nmt apps to my a300, it always stuck on "failed to download NMT 0%, rebooting now. i used the USB STICK to install that thing, using apps.nmt from the pch website and placed it in root.

My steps are:

- NMT Setup Wizard
- Fresh Setup
- please choose a storage device : my usb stick
- WARNING : fresh setup will format HDD : next
- "please choose NMT media destination" : selected storage device
- "please choose a NMT setup source" : local media
- warning, 2 sources of apps (blablabla? sorry i forgot)
- and stuck on downloading nmt screen + reboot

what can i do to fix this, even i already unplug my network cable to make sure the pch not downloading the apps from internet. and i already bust up 3 of my usb stick because a300 formatted it to .ext3 extension so that i can't used it on pc anymore

You can allways reformat your USB sticks on windows again. They're not busted up.

But when i reformat my usb, the maximum size always 1gb (which is the original size are 2gb or 4gb)

use disk management to get the correct size

I have the same issue: new A300, new 1.5TB inserted, setup and after the drive is reformatted, the NMT tools just won't get installed, regardless if I place a the single file on an USB stick or online. It takes forever on that 1/3 screen after starting installation of the NMT tools... Any help? I am not doing anything weird, even reseted to factory defaults.

Please advise. Thanks!

Got it to install NMT apps from local USB stick by putting the apps file from the firmware folder to the root of the stick without any other files. Hmm...

After putting the app on a usb stick, and selecting the HDD as default storage, choose Local instead of network for NMT. And unplug your networkcable !
