A110 behaving erratically
My A110 has started to misbehave after 1½ years of good service.
I suspect a hardware issue. For some movies (not all, but many) it will buffer and play, but then instantly freeze and exit the movie. Any attempt to play anything else then results in a still from the previous frozen movie. PCH has to be rebooted to remedy. Also, nzbget-downloads will very frequently fail to unrar due to errors in the downloaded files I've re-installed from scratch with new HD, but issues are unchanged. Could this be a hardware fault? Is it time to get a new popcorn? |

RE: A110 behaving erratically
Yep I have the same problem. It's almost as if the decoder has frozen and can't do anything until it's rebooted. I'm on my second PCB now and the problem is still happening.

RE: A110 behaving erratically
I've sort of had this problem when accessing network shares from my pc.
I've created it twice: 1) When burning off of a hard drive that I'm also trying stream from onto my popcorn hour. 2) Trying to move files between my pc and popcorn hour at the same time I'm watching a video on the pch. Basically it just craps out and creates the problems you seem to be having. I can usually fix it with a cold reboot. I'm not sure if you've got anything going on like that. |
