Good point, if you can't follow update instructions you may not want to run test software. You'll have even more headaches downgrading if it's a problem for you.

I'm still having problems playing large 1000+ song m3u playlists. It's still freezing and running really slow even with the m4a fix. Is there any way I can downgrade to an earlier version before the NMJ music player was added? Or should I just wait for a fix?? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Nobody has posted about insanely large playlists before. In otherwords, nobody knew it was a bug until you just posted so if there is going to be a fix, it may not be for some time.. To downgrade get the recovery instructions from the support.popcornhour.com website. When you find them, there are 2 instructions, you must use the ones below the ----

You should ALWAYS remove, uninstall ANY user created apps, prg, hack when doing a FW update.
And not only on the pch but it is o good thing to do on all devices since userapps could break the update by many different reasons. Pana S-20 Denon 2310 Router dlink dir-655 SYABAS FIX THE DAMN NETWORK SPEED!!! My network works fantastic using 1 year old FW but as soon as a new FW is installed i´m stuck around 5000Kbps in speed wich is WAY TO LOW |

Updated went fine, done factory reset. First good thing is: now it remembers last folder after restart.

RE: [C-200] Firmware 03-04-120607-21-POP-408 (Public RC) (6.7.2012)
Hey
Have been trying to download this update several times, using both different browsers as well as different computers. No matter what I do I get a "CRC failed in '03-04-120607-21-POP-408-000.bin'. File is broken" when unpacking the zip. Of course the precise error message is different if using other zip tools but all gives an CRC error. Anyone else with this error?? |

Now the problem still exists I just don't what's causing it this time. So maybe trying out playlists with a large number of tracks and varying file types is a good way to test compatibility. My box is still freezing with a playlist of this type. So has anyone posted anymore audio format compatibility issues or is it just a resource bug this time around? RE: [C-200] Firmware 03-04-120607-21-POP-408 (Public RC) (6.7.2012)
Nobody is posting any problems with large playlists. Yes there was a problem with audio files named .m4a but it had nothing to do with playing it inside a playlist, a large playlist or a small playlist. it was a problem with files named .m4a. the files played just file if they were named .aac.
Are you trying to report that there is a problem with large playlists or do you have some files inside your playlist that are crashing and the playlist itself does work. |

Exactly... It was posted that m4a file type wouldn't play and was fixed in this public release. Before having a .m4a in a small or large playlist would freeze the player... HOW can you NOT think there is a connection between the two? Now it could be a similar problem or this time it could be a resource thing. |
