[C-200] Firmware 03-04-120607-21-POP-408 (Public RC) (6.7.2012)

I have problem with Volume control on playing Shoutcast radio or .m3u playlists. Volume on NMT display show 0 position in center to slider, but on TV display show max to 0 and cannot move up more the graphic slider. Please, correct this bug or write me, how resolve this. Thanks.

Other functions on NMT works fine

It's working correctly and not a bug. See the first post in release notes, they said they changed the volume slider behavior.

The 2011 firmware was the online only update, you need to (and want to) do the recovery. It's does a little more than just install the firmware.

many thanks for the guidance.however, could you tell me how to make the c200 to detect the bin file. unlike the routine process current firmware is turning on c200 and it does not detect the bin file..

If your not opening the case and putting a jumper on 2 pins, your missing that step. If you are, then you probably setup the usb drive wrong and the bin file isn't in the root folder

The network is a bit slow with this firmware, before the update i can stream my movies without any tweak with nfs and auto mode with rx window at 0.
Now i have to tweak the rx window size with the help of accident but putting it to 4830 and not 5920 the default value. Also i have noticed that nfs is working better than nfs-tcp which it make my unit freezing.

If i would install this Firmware (16-7) 03-04-120607-21-POP-408 must i first install 03-04-120517-21-pop-408-000?.
If I try to install 03-04-120517-21-pop-408-000 i get a error 'Updating Firmware Falles Error 029.Why is this!.
My firmware now is 02-04-110422-21-pop-408-000.

ERR029 unable to unmount /opt/syb (usually mean some process is not dead yet) Reboot the NMT and retry the update.

Discopnnect your HDD or USB stick and then reboot. Then update.

i am on latest Rc firmware. there are couple of problems that i am facing.
each 10 minutes c-200 freezing. ( while i am watching movie)
it takes 10 minutes to detect the internal sata HDD`s
actually it does not matter what i am doing its escaping the menu while i am listening to mp3`s too
i am having difficulty to surf between pages on HDD.. it takes too much time to see the files.

i am not sure its related to firmware. a problem on hardware could be too.

i went back to recovery, but it did not solve my problem either.

if you think that its related to hardware, which part i should focus on?

I'd start with checking it to verify.. put the drive in a pc and use a linux boot disk to test it.. put a video on a thumbdrive and see if that plays ok.. open it up and check the cables first.. but the 10 minutes for the drive to be detected leads me to think starting to look at the drive is a good start.

i am not sure hdd would effect the all system but c-200 is having difficulty to detect the thumbdrive as well.

this discussion could get a little long, it would be best to open a thread for help on this.. more people would also notice it and be able to chime in.

is the questionable drive still in the pch? a dying drive can overtake a modern computer so I would think it can be interfering with anything the pch is up too.

they are still in the pch.
i think you r right, i will replace them at the first opportunity and report back.
