the drive its not detected but test on windows -> no error found and work,test on my Dune Work without problem.

the drive i sell with the C200 is a 1T not a 2T or 3T
i format it but the problem is the same,sometimes works with the c200 sometimes not.But works with my Dune and my computer.

check the cables, it almost sounds like one isn't fully in.

Don't know if its just me, but, since last official firmware, the remote became unresponsive, especially when trying to fast-forward or rewind during a movie and then resume normal playing.
Anybody else?

i removed the drive from PCH and pch has started to work without any problem. i though that the HDD has a problem. i checked the HDD today, it seems that it`s so healthy. so what else could be ?
does the number of folder/file make the HDD slower/unresponsive in PCH ?

do you happen to have a sata cable you could replace the existing one? maybe it's the cable. I also agree the drive looks ok, other thought is something wrong with the sata port itself.

What else is running on the nmt? maybe it's an application hogging the resources?

And yes, all filesystems suffer from too many files or folders in 1 folder and they do take longer to access the directory as it gets larger and larger. caching engines and systems where lots of files and folders are needed use a method of spreading out the files across lots of little folders in folders to achieve the best performance of the drive. It's sometimes refered to as a hashed directory. You tend to notice it on most devices right around 500-600 files/folders. the pch is probably lower because is it a folder or a ripped movie and it might be checking each folder + sorting, etc.

I had a similar problem turned out to be the power supply dying pch would boot up but no drives showing they didnt even spin up sometimes , replaced power supply with modded version works better than ever.

The most recent firmware I noticed that simple .m2ts files(maybe not in whole BD structure) played with the brakes and lost of sound via SMB network. Particularly noticeable on m2ts streams of the 45Gb BD Avatar and other high bitrate ones. At the same time, all is good with high bitrate .mkv

doubt it.. they posted it because they expected it to be long delayed and it's an improvement from the official release but still a few quirks. Especially looking at the a200 which appears to not be as stable as this one.

I wonder when the issue will be solved with the mute button on the right top corner. Since an update of the firmware, the mute button stays in the right top corner when watching a movie. I hoped this public beta firmware would solve it, but it didn't.

Any solution for the mute button? Strange is that the volume buttons on the remote have no function anymore or a weird function as nothing is working as it should regarding mute/volume up and down.
