HDD not work

Hi all,

Im new with the A300. Ived put my new HDD in my A300. Its a 1tb 3,5inch... But it dont recognize It When i link the hdd via the mediaplayer to pc there is no response. Only the hardware sound by plugging in...

Do i have to format the harddrive? And how? If i cant connect m with pc?

Or mabye is t an another problem

In the Setup menu, select Maintenance and then NMT Setup Wizard.

Select the Fresh Setup option and press the GREEN button the remote to proceed.

Select the storage device that you want to install the NMT applications on.
Once you have selected the storage device press the GREEN button on the
remote to proceed.

The NMT applications will be stored on a small hidden partition and any remaining space will be formatted
in EXT3 as local storage.

In order to install the NMT applications, you must have the apps.nmt file. You can choose to either install
the NMT applications from the web (internet connection is required) or use a USB device with the
apps.nmt file on the root directory. You can find the latest version of the apps.nmt file on our firmware
download page at http://support.popcornhour.com. Once you have selected your desired option, press
the GREEN button to proceed.

i'm having the same issue. those options don't appear. i know they did on the a210 but not my new a300. maintenance only has firmware update, open source, legal. the wizard from home screen gives no fresh setup option

halfelite - 08-07-01:19 -- the new 3tb wd drives come pre formatted for Windows xp support it throws the pch off stick it in a computer remove all patitions then create and full format
