"New" category has disappeared

I finally upgraded YAMJ (I hadn't done it in over 3 years) and now I have many more categories then I did before (Action, Animation, Comedy, etc) and the one I used all the time "New" is no longer there. I've checked moviejukebox.properties and the categories.xml files and they are showing my old categories which are the ones I wanted (including "new") but none of them are appearing. I don't know where these categories appear and how to get "New" added and others removed.
Help is GREATLY appreciated.

You can enable/disable & reorder categories by using categories-default.xml in the YAMJ folder. I believe he changed the layout at one point, so if you are using your old categories.xml it probably won't work. Try renaming it to categories-default.xml otherwise just edit the new file. It's as simple as setting true to false to disable/enable.

New should be on there by default from my understanding though, so possibly you haven't added anything new for awhile? After such a long time from updating, I would of just rebuilt the jukebox from scratch.

I use this:
mjb.newdays.movie=365
mjb.newdays.tv=365
mjb.newcount.movie=48
mjb.newcount.tv=48

Omerton was helpful and sent me the following which I did.

Copy your current YAMJ folder somewhere safe
Copy your current jukebox somewhere safe too

Delete the lib and properties folders from YAMJ folder
Download the latest zip
unzip and overwrite

Delete jukebox
run yamj

I did this and that's where everything changed w/the categories. I look in moviejukebox properties and there is only
mjb.newdays=XX
mjb.newcount=XX

I must have done something wrong since I don't see any option that has "movie" and "tv" in it.
