C-200 freezes up periodically
I have a c-200 that I just replaced the power supply because it died. After replacing the power supply, the C-200 periodically locks up completely and has to have the power turned off and be restarted. I have tried the last 2 firmware updates but they work the same. Does this sound like a hardware issue caused by the failing power supply?

RE: C-200 freezes up periodically
I replaced the PSU of my C-200 yesterday and had the same failures while playing some content from any source (local disk, nas, usb).
Threads http://www.networkedmediatank.com/showth...?tid=61454 and http://www.networkedmediatank.com/showth...?tid=61906 seems related. So I have upgraded the firmware with the two last availables (including RC), with the new NMT apps and everything is going well now. I'm thinking about the "Leap second bug" (which requires a NTP synch request) http://www.wired.com/wiredenterprise/201...ava-linux/ but maybe not related at all. |

RE: C-200 freezes up periodically
I think (and you will hate me) that you got a defective PSU, try another non PCH PSU
