I don't remember the steps but it wasn't hard to import the profile into a newer version of device central. I figured it out just clicking on things and didn't need to google for that one. It doesn't need an update at this time since all the hardware has the same flash profile. it's only used to tune device central to act similar to the hardware.

Now when the opengl stuff kicks in, then a second profile to mimic teh a400 better would be nice although not hard to export it, mod it yourself and put it back in.

Does the 'main screen' application controls the player?
I don't like the way how they split one key into three - Enter, Play, Pause.
On my TViX player this is a single button and its function depend on current context.
So, would it be possible to build a home screen / player that combines these buttons into one?
I use a harmony remote that has a different layout and it is even less convenient to have 3 buttons for most useful functions.

And another question. Is A-400 home screen an open source or leaked somewhere?
I don't want to spend half my life building a player, just override some button codes.

Thanks.

RE: Getting starting: Flash interface apps, skins, etc
I assume you mean the buttons used to start playback? sure you can do what you want. If you mean buttons while playing, to a degree yes you can do whatever you want there also but you need to launch the playback to do that, there is no way to 'replace the player' if something else launches it.

nobody is going to talk about "leaked" code on this forum Smile
