did you try a factor reset. sometimes factor resets fix everything also make sure the subs are not off the screen or something.

go under setup and maintence i think. but be warned it will wipe out all your settings. so if you have shares and things setup maybe write everything down before you do it.

@ anyone:
Use a USB stick and install the Apps that way:- http://files.syabas.com/popcornhour/firm...20-000.zip Unpack the file and place the apps.nmt on a USB stick. Insert that into the player and then go to Settings > Maintenance > NMT SEtup Wizard. I think it should then recognise that you have a new version on a USB stick and ask if you want to update. Use a download manager and the PCH website to update. It's far quicker to do the manual update via USB then wait for the online when a firmware has just been released. A400: SSD+SD Card(Apps), HDMI A300: USB(Apps), HDMI C200: USB(Apps), BD SH-B083L(SB01), HDMI CAT6 Wired Network: TV TX-P42G20, HP ProCurve 1400-8G, Netgear GS-608/605, Synology CS407 |

a lot of bugs are fixed, it is a good thing.
BUT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but the basic is the minimum to be able to read dvd iso... now it is not possible !!! direct access to file/folder with number touch = not possible change samba password with not numeric or numeric character = not possible save the settings in a file = not possible reset the factory default so often after upgrade = not comprehensible not possible to see if pch is or not switch on/off (3colors as c200) = not implemented choose the number of lines in file mode explorer (c300 = 11, c200 = 15) => regression choose character height in file mode display all files if i want... if subtitles files are present.... => like c200 or A110. list of files too slow (straight nas in 1gb/s network) = pause every 2 or 3 secunds. why ? etc !!! what catastrophic nmt this c300... 4 months to regression is edit: DVD Iso playing works fine now. I switch off totally my nmt c300. And switch on after a few second. After "reboot", it works normally. |

Has anyone managed to connect to apps since updating firmware? I had the same problem and I tried everything, changing from automatic to manual and back, nothing helped. Finally I went through the setup wizard again, I didn't change anything, just using the green button to get through. It said connection works and afterwards the nmt apps update worked fine. The clock still doesn't show the right time and the apps market says can't connect to server (no proxy involved) but the nmt apps update worked. Looks to like there's a new big bug with internet connections ![]() Hopefully we don't have to wait 5 month for a fix ... |

Mine is Cisco/Linksys E4200. Seems "not compatible" with PCH300. |

It still works a bit, For the apps in the marked I have installed, the ARTE-7 App and the ZDF-Mediathek I get the list of todays clips, so there's a connection, but it seems that bigger stuff is not working. I'll try manual, but I'm not sure if my fritzbox will like that I tried manual and the network seems to work now (after the reboot), so not the complete network capabilities are broken, only DHCP ... |

they have had issues before where if your router only sends one dns address its messes things up as a work around try settings manual dns address see if it works.

Video_TS folders playing "no signal" since this update
Since this 05-02-120710-23-POP-420-000 update all my DVD rips ( Video_TS) folders playing cut off the signal to my TV. I only see "no signal" while the front display of the C300 says it's playing.
I've seen a lot of posts concerning this issue, but none cover my problem. - I tried video setting " auto " - I tried video setting 1080P 60Hz - I tried bypassing my receiver, thus HDMI directly to TV - I tried another HDMI cable - I tried the setting overscan/underscan HOW CAN I GET BACK TO THE PREVIOUS FIRMWARE? I DISLIKE THIS UPDATE CRIPPLING MY C300 !!! |
