It seems that I am not alone, my c300 has same problem after update, I think we will soon have a quick fix on this, I am uploading the video to youtube, it's just an apparent mistake.

But I try to set to 1080p 50hz, problems gone, but still need a firmware fix on this

Just tried, 1080p 50hz can't fix, we need a bug fix firmware

FW and NMT update via USB successfully done.

BUT: I'm not able to connect via WLAN anymore Sad
I've tried setup wizard and direct changes of settings. No chance, in any case the connection cannot be established.

Any hint to get the WLAN connection running?

(LAN is working, but not a option)

You should NEVER use Auto for your Video Output. It should be renamed Recovery as that is the only time you should ever set any NMT to Auto in the Video Output option.

You should always set a Video Output and Frameratesync that matches your TV specification and country. Being lazy and leaving it set to Auto firstly there is nothing automatic about what it does and secondly you will not get the best display output 100% of the time.

New problem with this release - subtitles does not work any more.

Not embedded nor external.

Not srt, not sub.

Please fix soon....

Strange that no one else has reported that?Huh

Had a read of the whole thread and one other user reported subtitles as not working.

Got to ask the stupid question, have you set a language in Settings > Preferences > Subtitles after doing the Factory Reset?

more likely there was no factory reset and the image instead of being on the screen to read is just below and appears missing.

Same problem here. When I go back to the previous firmware, all works fine.

Anything else I can test?

BTW: How can I revert to the original FW? Have three kids, so I need subtitles to work.

sent a request for support to popcorn: 18442 no reply! I've just updated to the c-300 from the c-200 and turned c-300 on and updated firmware, it wont connect to apps whatsoever it just says no connection and sends me to the setup which obviously connects to the internet straight away? Is it the new firmware that stops people connecting to apps and if so can i get back to the older fiormware? I've seen a few people say they cant connect to apps and even more worrying for me is that subtitles dont appear to be working properly either, 1 of my primary reasons for upgrading to the c-300 is that it said it would trot off and find subtiltes for me? I have the language set as english (for me) and the subtitles set to polski (for my partner) the c-300 has not picked up ANY polski subtitles even though when i manually look for them via my pc i find polski subtitles is this another feature NOT working? Please Werner or anyone please reply. Thanks in anticipation.

also on my a-300 when I enter apps store it says connection problem even if it's perfectly working

Install previous firmware:

Goto: http://www.popcornhour.com/download/C300...-C300.html
Download firmware.
unpack on thumbdrive
thumbdrive into popcornhour
Setup/Maintenance/Firmware update/Check for...

It should find the firmware on the thumbdrive.

Went back to February firmware and APPS worked first timeSmile Obviously an introduced fault with latest July firmware that needs addressing

Not really, how can you explain why there is no problem before firmware update with same settings? It must be some problem on the new firmware.
