I don't use wireless with my c300, the problem happens with normal cable connection. The c300 is the only device I know that can't properly handle that.

Do you all happen to have the same brand router? it could be even provider related if your all the same provider.. Just looking for what is common between the 3 of you in the same country that is causing the bug..

btw, how many dns servers are listed in your network settings? if you only have one, edit them so your house dns server is the same for both servers. OR try switching them to googles dns 8.8.8.8,8.8.4.4 this sounds really similar to an issue I had with a dlink router

I have the same problems and live in the Netherlands, I have a Zyxel router. It is indeed the only device I know who cannot connect correctly to my router! Please, PCH, fix this! This is a NMT

HELLO EVeRyBODY.

First of all you must to know your Inside NAT (192.168.X.X) - DHCP
Just go to the status on your router settings an see all your devices

On your router (I have DSR-1000N) fix IP on device (PCH-300) - it's called "DHCP RESERVED IPs (LAN)" (This page allows user to configure the reserved IP Addresses for the DHCP Server configuration.) - for example 192.168.10.105, after that go to the Lan settings on you PCH-300 and swith the DHCP to the manual and set IP (192.168.10.105) the same that you fix on router fot your player.

somethig like this... i check on my player - it's work - after reboot player - all fine. It match in both case LAN or Wireless.

In my case having a fixed IP wasn't enough because the C-300 was messing up also the DNS's and the subnet mask, so I was somehow able to download nmt apps but the router was reporting itself not connected to the internet and was seeing the shared folders on my network as empty. Oddly enough, it was browsing my network, just not seeing the content.

Full manual settings in the IP configuration menu, hard reboot of the C-300 fixed the networking issues and now the player behaves as it should. Some BD titles still don't play audio properly, but the vast majority are playable.

Hi I have transmission as my Torrent client on my PCH-C300 and with this latest release of the firmware my PCH-C300 freezes after 10-20 mins of starting a torrent is there any fix for this it never did this earlier it all started after I updated it to this new firmware and it is very sluggish when the torrent starts downloading

Did you update the NMT Apps? They also required an update. An update is a two stage p[rocess if you have the NMT Apps installed. Firmware first and then NMT Apps.
The NMT Apps torrent client is Transmission. So you'll need to indicate whether by referring to transmission you are in fact using a CSI Apps version. In which case after a firmware and NMT Apps update you will usually have to reinstall the userapps via the CSI.

For anyone having Network problems change from DHCP to a static internal ip setup:-

And whilst setting your static ip double check the subnet and DNS server addresses are correct for your LAN.
I found a subnet default of 255.255.0.0 when on 99% of syatems it will be 255.255.255.0. DNS server ips of 220.xxx.xxx.xxx etc. are openDNS ips. Change again to yours by the method in the WIKI.

I was able to successfully uninstall the transmission app via CSI APP but now I am not able to reinstall the app I get this error

I got it to install somehow I have no idea how it worked this time .. I hope its not sluggish now after I run the torrent I will let you guys know

CSI transmission apps are not supported by Syabas so posting in the firmware thread on them is not the place. Post in CSI thread or torrent section if you do not use the default version in the NMT Apps of transmission v.1.72.
I did ask for an update of Transmission in the NMT Apps. Syabas asked the Transmission developers who reported back to stay at v1.72 for stability.

After upgrading, my subtitles get blurry (lookes like that the subtitles are showed double on top over each other, or some kind of shadow effect)

Checked it also on movies I allready watched and used to be good. Now they are blurry too.

my Firmware is up to date as follows:
Popcorn Hour C-300 firmware release: 05-02-120710-23-POP-420-000, and NMT apps: 05-02-111220-23-POP-420.

However, when I go to "Set up Wizard", I only get 2 options: "wired (ethernet cable)" and "Wireless (USB adapter)". I choose "Wireless (USB adapter)" even though the MN 200 is not a USB adapter (but that's the only choice I get). I know the MN 200 is working as I can see wi-fi networks (including mine) in "Step 03"... THE PROBLEM comes when typing my password for the wireless network... I type it and the c300 starts searching until the error message comes up: "Error. Unable to link up. Please check your password or local connection". Now, I know my password is correct and that my wi-fi network is working as I tested the password on an iphone and all works.. except the C300 and MN200 combination don't seem to be doing what they are supposed to be doing... in a nutshell, I cannot connect to the internet wirelessly with this latest firmware update.

Is there a fix to this situation? or have I spent on $70 worth of MN200 for nothing? is wireless via the MN 200 / C300 working for anybody ? Please?

My MN200 was working with FW from November 2011 only. The C300 freeze with the FW from beginning 2012, if I used the wireless connection. With the current FW, no connection was possible.
Now I have sold it with 70% loss

If you sold it with a 70% loss you did something wrong lol. I sold me C200 for almost the price of a new A300. Quick look on ebay has one ending an an hour and bids are already up to $192.60, 20$ more and its at full retail price. You need to learn to sale better.

I sold the MN200 (the wireless PCI card) not my C-300, because wireless is not really supported and more and more problems with every new FW update.
