some networking devices tend to be regional so it could be an issue if you all have matching wireless networking hardware or maybe models that have the same chipset in it. Still a pch bug.

I don't use wireless with my c300, the problem happens with normal cable connection. The c300 is the only device I know that can't properly handle that.

I'm in Australia and I have the same problem

As you can see by the many responses to this thread, the connectivity issues of the MN 200 when installed into a C300 player have Not been resolved by the latest July 10, 2012 Firmware update.

QUESTION: When is the next Firmware update coming out? and will it resolve the MN 200 issue?

A silly question: How do we know if the C-300 connected to the internet? (sorry if I post this in the wrong thread, mod please advise me if I should post this somewhere else)

I'm using the MN200 card. The weather widget is updated with latest weather forecast so I thought it's connected. However, when I try to fetch online subtitle, error message shows up "This feature requires internet connection" (or something like this). YouTube app seems to have issue too when I click on a video it's just keep loading forever with black screen. All of these apps/feature ran well before I updated with this new firmware. Is this a firmware issue? App issue or wireless issue? Thank you.

The latest f/w update messed up the networking on C-300. In order to be properly set up for internet, you need to assign it a static IP and enter all network settings manually. C-300 gives incorrect parameters for DNS and Subnet mask even if it reports successful completion of the auto configuration wizard. To make matters even worse, my c-300 froze when given the manual setting and had to be hard reboot in order to work again. A very problematic f/w update to say the least. Introduced as many problems as it fixed.

Actually, you only need to adjust the dns servers to make sure there are 2 of them. You can have dhcp with manual dns servers. In some cases, the default opendns servers don't work with some older routers and you need to adjust for that, same fix just different servers.

Try testing your wireless without any encryption and see if this works. If yes, then play around with the wifi encryption types until you make it work.

Since Firmware upgrade my C-300 will no longer stay connected to Internet. I use a wired connection and have to run quick setup each time I power on. Also I have always removed my Internal drive and put into my PC to add new movies and then when back in my C-300 run the scan to add the new movie info. I have just tried this and it will no longer allow me to access the drive?
