[C-300] All rebooting features sucks
- After firmware update, rebooting.....rebooting...it never reboots....

- Another problem, the "reset to factory default" function never reboots, it just stuck me on the black screen...

- After setting up NMT apps, rebooting, rebooting....and c-300 hangs up...

Conclude: It never reboots successfully
**3 problems need hard reset to power on the c300 again

Some blu-ray files load very slow to get to the menu and play
( I will capture the video to show this later)

Some TS file (from Japan NHK TV Broadcast) play the first few minutes and replay again ! (The whole file is 45")
( I will capture the video to show this later)

Some TS file cannot show the timeline
( I will capture the video to show this later)

when I updated the fw, it also hung on rebooting. But, I decided to just leave it alone since I was frustrated at the unit and busy. When I came back later, it had rebooted. Will not see if it plays files w/o locking up, rebooting and all the other weird stuff it has been doing which has meant I have not even been able to use it

Your TS problems sound like corrupted TS files. what happens if you run one through ts doctor does it give any errors?

RE: [C-300] All rebooting features sucks
Do you mean that after installing the firmware or the NMT Apps the player gets stuck with the message rebooting? If so then this has happened on all other series and you simply need to reboot yourself.

I'm not saying it should happen, just that yes its a bug but they have not fixed it in earlier series and probably wont in this, and, as you simply need to reboot yourself, there's always bigger issues to fix.

Yes, exactly. OK, I will manually reboot this. I just worry if this action bricks the machine, if it is okay to manually reboot it, then I will try.

RE: [C-300] All rebooting features sucks
As long as the process completed and it is just stuck with a rebooting message on the screen then you are fine to just reboot yourself.

I always use USB to update. If a firmware has just been released it is far quicker to go to the PCH website and use a download manager like IDM to download. I get 700kb/s and even allowing for the downloading and placing the files on a USB stick and manually updating.

I think syabas is dealing with it and preparing to release next fw, all we need to do is wait

Are they? I dont understand what he's on about, think he likes to talk in code, and there's no detail in his post to be able to tell. That's the problem with most of the posts in this section, its just some useless post that does nothing to help and just whines.

sometimes something happens accidentally ... so before ... we should argue little bit to find point of view.
All of as can add some pieces of information ... together we can find where is a problem.
That's mean discussion on a forum Smile

If You expected a pieces of code to fix any problem ... you should buy a crystal ball ... Wink of course it's joke.
And of course we all working together.
