Network browser - Apple TimeCapsule HDD

Hi,
My first post!
Anyway, I bought A-300 on friday and sucessfully connected it to my AVR (and TV) and with Ethernet cable to internet.

I tried to access "Networked media" and through "Network browser", A-300 found my Apple TimeCapsule and its internal 2TB HDD. Everything worked fine.

I tried it again later in the afternoon and I wasn't able to anymore. It just says "Unable to access server, please check server setup".

When A-300 was trying to receive an automatic IP from my router, it gave it some weird number. I unplugged the ethernet cable and plugged it in. Everything again worked fine. A-300 even saw my shared HDD on my Win7 x64 PC.

After few hours I was again unable to access TimeCapsule (or any other device) with the same message "Unable to access server, please check server setup".

Any suggestions what should I do?
Is there a step by step procedure in how to manually add a share and some examples?
I really don't understand what exactly is "Share Folder" and "Share name".

"Media" folder on my TimeCapsule 2TB HDD is shared completely and my PC and Mac both see it.

sounds like a dhcp bug might be getting in your way.. switch the a300 to a static ip should help until the new firmware comes out (although I'm not up on if the new firmware fixes this)

Well, I got it working again. All of my shared folders appeared again through "workgroup" and then I manually added the shares.

The only thing that is frustrating that I can't access A-300 through my PC or Mac without installing NMT apps.

What do you want to do that you need to access it. You can always install NMT apps on a 4gb usb stick.

what half said. the only thing nmt gives you is access to things you need a drive for. that's why it installs on a drive.. if you really need it as said you can use a usb thumbdrive as your local drive to install and run it from.

And I did that, but I still cannot access my 2TB internal HDD or WD My Book which is connected via USB.

I can access folders on that USB only (where NMT is installed).

Am I missing something?
When I click on A-300 (on PC or Mac), PC tells me that A-300 is unable to accept connection/or "connection denied", while Mac is asking me for Username and password which i don't have. Or do I?

Actually, I should be able to access both of my drives connected to A-300 (this worked perfectly when I had the iXtreamer player).

I noticed a lot of bugs that are happening:
- i can't easily switch subtitles - the video breaks at some point and A-300 completely freezes and I cannot load any file after that
- on some .mkv movies picture is not smooth (this happens on both USB HDD and internal HDD)
- resume play it's not working all the time

On Apps market, I've noticed that YouTube app does not support HD playback while YouTube Leanback does. What's up with that?

What is happening when I press "off" button once and when I hold it for 5 seconds? I didn't find this in user manual.
