if you use usb slave with the a300 (so connect A-300 as external HDD to PC) then please send me a PM and i will give you a usb slave firmware upgrade to support 3TB hdd in this external hdd mode.

A few C300 owners reported subtitle issues after this release but not all subtitles users. Trying to get down to who is affected and then the why may be more obvious. For example is it single, double or multibyte character languages etc.

Please also do a Factory Reset if you have problems with subtitles not displaying.

The requirement at times for Factory resets could make a small backup function that reloaded your saved settings quite a nice addon.

Subtitles work for me, only subtitle problems I had in previous firmware still exist. I'm using ISO files though.

- Subtitle tracks that are flagged to be "ON" by default for both MKV and ISO do not automatically enable still. I have to know if that movie has them, and enable the track manually. Lots of movies are using this now as a method to apply forced subtitles. Another example is that every anime episode/foreign film I watch I have to turn subtitles on manually, even though the subtitle track is forced on by default. We need a "depends on file" for subtitle options. All my files play correctly in PowerDVD.
- Kill Bill's Volume 1 forced subtitles won't show even though they are on there. They play in PowerDVD, other movies forced subtitles seem to play correctly. Not sure what it doesn't like about those.

These are not game breakers, but they are annoying and it looks like they'll never be fixed. Exist on the 200s and 300s series, and have since Day 1 for each device.

omg guys start thinking we have a wiki and if you use User Apps then Erro29 is to be expected,
because we have no control if your userapps change systemfiles which blocks our unmount mechanism!!!!!!!
so remove the user apps or disconnect the hdd and do then the UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!

Subtitles working fine here, in sync after ff'ing a few times and pausing and positioned in black bars now for anamorphic movies in h264 mkv.
