Problem letting a program create a folder on my a-300 hdd (SMB)
Having a running SMB server, and mapped it in my windows.

Running a groovy (java script) script that creates folders on my streamer's hdd. It seems like it doesn't have the permission. how do I fix that?

more details:
I set my µTorrent to run this command on torrent finish(under properties-run program-when a torrent finishes)

When I run it by my self it does the correct thing
when µTorrent runs it when a torrent finishes -

The Command Runs this script:
http://pastebin.com/74ntUbm8

The script uses the features of Filebot (a moving and renaming free-ware)
To do this:
1. Unrar archives
2. Group movies and episodes and then handle them seperately (auto-detect episode-vs-movie file)
3. Copy and Organize episodes and movies into folders and rename files properly

I set it to move it to my streamer's hard drive (P:\).

Why does µTorrent fail? I tried running it as an administrator. But It seems it doesn't have the permission to create those folders, how can i fix that?
My Network hard-drive needs permissions in order to get accesses to
"(user nmt, password:1234)" , How do I give Utorrent those permissions ?

RE: Problem letting a program create a folder on my a-300 hdd (SMB)
I don't think this is a permissions problem.. The message is it's renaming the file from c:\ to p:\, while renaming is how you move a file between folders, you can't rename a file to a difference drive. Most tools or scripts would use a move command which would copy instead of rename if needed.

You might want to ask the tool maker if it supports moving files to different drives/network devices.

Yes It supports.
The script works when I run it my self.
It uses the filebot - which supports "renaming to another location"
The problem occurs when utorrent runs the command by itself.

so it sounds like the user utorrent is running as or having the script running as does not have permissions or if running as a service may not be able to access the mapped drive and you need to use the unc path of \\server\share format.

RE: Problem letting a program create a folder on my a-300 hdd (SMB)
I'm running utorrent as administrator.

When i run the script from cmd - it works fine
when utorrent run the script - it does not.
if I change P:/ to C:/ in utorrent, utorrent runs the script correctly.
So the problem is utorrent running the script on drive P:/,
how do I get the unc path ?
