Popcorn and Superdrive

Is it possible to use Apple MacBook Air Superdrive DVD-player in my Popcorn hour A110 and watch DVD movies? Do I need to connect dual-usb cable (power from second)?

I have connected it to popcorn and it appears to the menu, but I can't insert any DVD. It is same problem like in my macbook, but I made some hack to it.
