[A-210] No picture during playback

Hi,

I just got a brand new A-210 as a replacement for my A-110.

I've set everything, but I don't get a picture during video playback. I can see all the menus, I can display JPGs, I hear the audio, even the OSD during playback works, but no video picture, no matter what video I try (XVID, MKV) or where I play it from (HDD or NAS).

My TV is a big Sony which syncs to nearly everything (NTSC, PAL, 24, 1080p, 1080i, 720p).

I have tried several setting combinations but to no avail. Any ideas what I could try next?

Go into settings, and make sure the video mode is set to something other than auto. Try 1080i/24fps.
Set video synch to Off.
Test if that helps.

Thanks for your reply, but there is no 1080i/24fps. I tried 1080p/24 and 1080i/50 though to no avail. Both display "static" content, i.e. PCH menus, OSD, JPGs, but no video picture.
