[Bug] C200 intermittent booting..???

Hi ALL!
I have had my C200 for about 2 years (out of warranty) and tried to power up the C200 but only got a blank screen and the message on my HD monitor said "HDMI no signal".
I powered down and tried again this time the LCD screen lit up and the C200 booted up. I was able to browse my 2TB internal drive and watch a film.
After viewing the whole movie I turned the C200 off and turned off the power at the plug too.
A day later I tried to start the C200 again but had the same problem but this time it has taken longer to actually get the C200 to boot up and for a signal to be picked up on my monitor. The LCD is also blank and will power up but I have to keep turning the C200 on and off hoping it will "power up"!!!
By the way, when I have powered up the C200 the red light around the power button is illuminated and turns white when depressed to start it. I am unable to depress the power button to turn the C200 off and have to turn the C200 off with the switch at the back of the C200 near the power cable????

Anyone suffered with this problem? Not sure if I should just replace the machine with a new C300 or try to buy a new LCD panel and motherboard???

Any help or advice with the above will be greatly appreciated.....

It's likely your power supply failing.
Try using a PC ATX power supply and see if it fixes it.
If so, you can repair the PCH power supply. There are pictures in the WIKI.

Hi!
I bought a new PSU direct from Popcorn Hour and replaced the old PSU with the new one.......and it is still suffering with the original problem. Sometimes when I turn on the C200 there is no display but I can hear the hard drive spinning. Other times the LCD lights up with the Popcorn logo but there is no HDMI signal on the Monitor/TV.

I have tried to disconnect the hard drive and start it up but the same thing happens as above....???

Anything else I can try?

Hi ALL!
Just a quick update..

It would appear that my C200 has died!!
I purchased a new PSU direct from Popcorn Hour but it did not resolve the problems I was having. I have just emailed their support team who have been very helpful to enquire about a new motherboard and hope it will not cost too much and be a pain to replace with the old.

Alternatively, I am also going to look at possibly an altogether new media player if the costs involved are great.

Anyone out there replaced their C200 either replacing parts or going for an all-together new media player and if so which one to save me going through all the specs, pros and cons etc....
