[GUIDE] Auto Run YAMJ sickbeard

I know this is a crude way but it dose work.

i have a server that runs Yamj + sickbeard and i wanted to auto run yamj once sickbeard had downloaded a new tv ep.


For this i used growl for windows and Leelu Soft: Watch 4 Folder (Watch 4 Folder Version 2.3 ) its free.

I enabled growl in sickbeard and set it up on my server.
I then installed "Watch 4 Folder" and told it to watch
C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Growl\2.0.0.0\History\SickBeard
( i did this as it was a small folder for it to monitor rather than my tv folder)

for the select events to monitor i chose "file creation" and "folder change"

and in the actions to trigger events i pointed to my "My_YAMJ.cmd" or in my case its called "My_YAMJ_TV.cmd" as i have one for tv and one for films.( you can start a second instance to monitor another folder if you want )

Now once sickbeard has finished its processing of the new tv ep 2 files are created in the "C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Growl\2.0.0.0\History\SickBeard" this will then trigger the cmd file to run and yamj to update your juke box.

You can test by creating a new txt doc in the folder and yamj should start.
