[NMJ v2] Music stops playing with NMJ v2 - is it just me?

Hi all,

I have an A-300 and have a library of 400 or so albums mostly in mp3. I have deleted and recreated the NMJ database a couple times and there is no change. When playing an entire album - I select it from the "wall" and hit play - it will play a few songs then just stop. No more music. I will still respond as in you can hit play again and the arrow will briefly appear, but it won't start playing anything again.

I can't get it to play anything else until I reboot the player. It happens on different albums and on different songs. Most of these were either ripped using Windows media, but it also happens on downloaded albums from amazon and Google play.

Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this?

No one else? I have tested it with CD's I have ripped and albums bought online. It will play a couple songs, then just stop and I have to reboot the PCH to get it to play anything else. I have rebuilt the database as well

I know that this did not happen with my C200 and NMJv1.

Hi Chris.

I'm not seeing this. All my files are flac on a usb drive attached to the A-300.

Probably not much I could suggest to a retired beta tester! Where are your files - usb drive, internal drive or network share? Any issues with video files from the same source? Is it occurring between songs or does it cut out during a song? If between songs, perhaps a firmware/nmj re-install??

Drive or Cable issue maybe? Can you test the drive with whatever utility the drive manufacturer recommends? Try a different cable? Different drive or move to a share??

Just guessing I'm afraid. Perhaps a bit more info on your setup might assist the more technically astute on the forum.
