heyas
I am looking at the A-300, I read in some reviews that browsing in the network is very slow. I will only ever be streaming from a NAS i wont even bother putting a HDD inside the pch How do you guys find its network and streaming capabilities? I would be iffy about buying if it takes a while the upadate movies lists etc thanks guys |

RE: A-300 network browsing
Dont believe all you read.
There is nothing wrong in speed with the 300 series. You'll have to put some greater detail in your post if you want a better tailored reply. A400: SSD+SD Card(Apps), HDMI A300: USB(Apps), HDMI C200: USB(Apps), BD SH-B083L(SB01), HDMI CAT6 Wired Network: TV TX-P42G20, HP ProCurve 1400-8G, Netgear GS-608/605, Synology CS407 |

RE: A-300 network browsing
well I would like to know how long does it take when you a list of movies, then have to go to the next page? my A110 can go from page to page in about .5 of a sec.
is it similar performance? |

First thing first are you going to stick with file list or move into NMJ which is jukebox style with film covers? List view as a strange slow down bug every 22 items that can make list view seem slow seems to be some strange cache thing going on. |

The NMJ would be a great way to go about it. I have read that the A300 comes with NMJ function that is correct yeah? So if I was to use NMJ rather than list view it would not slow down? Also I did read that NMJ was only usable with a built in HDD not through a network is that correct? |

RE: A-300 network browsing
NMJ is built in.
And no you dont need internal drive. You can store NMJ database on a network share as long as the pch as write access to it. if not an internal drive or 8gb usb stick will do. |
