A110 upgrade to A300. Data Question

I have upgraded from an A110 to a A300, and am unsure what is the best course of action to deal with the 1.5TB of movies on the HD installed in the A110.

I have installed a new 2TB HD on the A300, so should I transfer the data from the old HD to the new HD? Or should I network the data? If I network, can I leave the HD installed in the A110 or do I need to setup a NAS? The A110 is still fully operational.

Can I have my movies in two locations in YAMJ (I'm sure this might be a better question for the YAMJ forum, but someone here may know)

You can't use the same yamj for both units. 1 unit is html only, the other unit is flash only.. You'll need 2 separate yamj setups which is not horrible. http://www.networkedmediatank.com/showth...?tid=60166 explains it more.

Yes you can have 2 different locations for yamj. In your case your 110 setup will be your local drive + the network share to the 300. the 300 will be it's local drive + the network share to the 110 setup. The 110 is a little more restrictive on share mounting and generally users with local + network setups would store the jukebox on the network share. The 300 with eversion doesn't really matter too much as it can handle the mounting on demand.

But somethign to keep in mind, the pch is barely enough power to play a video. you might find situations where both units are playing video stored on the same drive at the same time may cause both players to suffer poor playback. That's just because of the nature of the low speed bus inside the chips and they can only go so fast but this is a setup that others have done successfully, so don't worry too much about it. Just keep it in your mind if you see poor playback on both units at the same time.
