1080p .sup works, its same format as in a bluray disc. 1080p sub/idx how ever will never work. the player will not crash anymore when a mkv has 1080p .sub but will not play it.

What am I doing wrong then? I got a 1080p MKV with a 1080p .sup (not .sub/idx), both with the same filename, but it doesn't show in the subtitle list and doesn't play the subtitles.

After new FW Upgrade on PCH A-200 I was lost my internet connection, manual dns or ip didn't resolve this problem, rolling back to old firmware. Really sad and angry from new firmware. Any solution to this bug ? New un-buggy release maybe ?

I had this problem all you do is change to manual for ip then change your ip address, then will work. It is not buggy perfectly fine but then again so was the firmware from a year ago.

This is not solution, after restart is about same problem and i must reset ip/dns adress again.

same issue here for PCH-A210 with accessing a Samba share on Synology NAS. With the new firmware 03-04-120727-21-POP-411-000 installed it's not possible anymore to access a share on a Synology DS409 (DSM 3.2) - I always got the message "unable to resolve the hostname". When I activate the guest account on the NAS the A-210 can access the share immediately - but to have the guest account permanently activated isn't really an option!

Thanks. But after the firmware upgrade i can no longer connect to any internet services such as Youtube. I can only stream from my NAS within my own network. I am using a wifi antenna since I am unable to use LAN cable. With old firmware it was no problem to connect to internet such as Youtube service. But with new firmware I can not. Settings are good both in PCH and router, I even added DMZ to IP of my PCH but no improvement.

Maybe something wrong with the new firmware?
Using A-200

I upgraded the firmware online using the Wifi antenna (not a USB stick)

After the upgrade all functions are fine except there are no internet connection to Youtube, App-store, and all the other functions using Internet.

Changed to manual ip rather than DHCP?
Checked subnet not defaulted to 255.255.0.0 rather than 255.255.255.0
Checked there are two DNS server addresses?
Checked that none are defaulted to openDNS 208 ip's?
Updated the NMT Apps aswell as the firmware, if you have NMT Apps?
Rebooted Router?
Checked device name in NMT Aplications screen?

After each boot my router detects my NMT as a gigabit network with the incompatibilities that come with it.
So I have to activate the automatic mode and then switch back to 10/100 for the router detects the NMT network 10/100.

Only Manual IP works. Previously, DHCP worked fine.

With this FW version I see in my router log that It gets the DHCP request and answers it but still the A-210 can't connect to LAN.

I'm connecting over wifi using Edimax EW-7612UAn. Wifi connection gets established, it's the DHCP client, it seems, that's broken.

Yes, I did a hardware reset after the FW upgrade.

That sounds exactly like the problem I had with the last firmware, and now seems to be fixed (connected to a cheapo tp-link switch).

This is not fixed as far as I can tell. I always had some BD ISO's where it wouldn't detect resolution, codec and/or movie length. Behaviour on new firmware looks like it is absolutely the same to me. Examples: Batman Begins, The Good Bad & Ugly, Casino, Harry Potter 7 part 2 (all 1:1 blu-ray rips, german versions)

Thanks for the firmware. It's good to know that we aren't forgoten.
Updated smoothly without glitches and everything working.
Remember to reset to factory default settings and to reinstall nmt apps.
But..
1) I'm still waiting a decent slideshow mode with ken burns effect.
2) Not resolved the gigabit performance. It slows down after a few minutes. Hardware related as it seems. Lost hope on this one.
