Few notices/bugs on new firmware:

1. I'm using SD video output on my unit (576p) and when using some apps and trying to exit from them using Home button I get an on screen message that doesn't fit on my screen. I try to navigate to presumably OK button and it closes the app but the message itself stays on screen. This was the case on older firmware as well.

2. idx+sub subtitles sometimes are not scaled to my SD screen. I'm not sure if those are PGS subtitles, but I can see a part of them sometimes if they are on left top corner.

3. I'm using my popcorn for IPTV via multicast udp. On previous firmware I could switch between different audio tracks using Audio button. In this firmware however Left/Right/Stereo is displayed and audio disappears completely. When trying to watch the same stream recorded on PC using VLC I can switch between audio tracks.
Also when watching the same recorded stream I can see that there are subtitles in that stream however they are not displayed. When watching that stream live no subtitles are available at all. Using VLC I can see that those are DVB subtitles (or DVBS subtitles).

Hi

I have a PCH A-210.
Before I updated to the latest FW I never had an issue connecting my PCH to my Mac to stream Videos by using NFS.

Now since I have updated the PCH to the latest FW, I cannot access to my Mac anymore because my login is invalid (but it is correct for sure, I even changed it on my Mac just to be sure).
What is also weird is that the error message display my share as a Samba share even tough I have installed it as a NFS share.

I also tried to change the Share to Samba or NFS/TCP and even tried to reinstall the NFS share without any luck.....

I also googled this problem but could not find a solution for my problem.

I hope you can help me!

I have the same exact problem, my pch will now only connect via NFS.. I had to now enable all folders i want to be visible for it to connect. im fearful that because of the transfer rate difference between samba and nfs it wont buffer large files the same like when i run a blu ray dvd from the nas. Im a little disappointed since ive had absolutly no problems with my A-200 until now.

I'm having all sorts of problems with my Mac setup too, it's my understanding PCH can't connect via SMB since the release of Lion OS last year, PCH didn't bother to update this firmware to a compatible version of SMB.

Last night I couldn't even get the PCH to load it's internal drive, it was just looping and not getting anywhere, I thought the disk might have died, but no, I had to use my Oppo player to browse the files over Twonky.

From bad to worse ...

the samba is really out of date so it will improve in the future as they update it. if nfs gives slower transfers or playback issues, switch the shares to nfs-tcp and reboot the pch.

that should be IF THEY EVER update it, it has been listed as a bug for over a year

I changed my network shares to NFS TCP once again, but this time I rebooted the NMT...
After the reboot the NMT automatically changed the network share back to NFS and of course I still cannot access to my Mac..... it still says invalid Username or Password.....

Is this a bug? And if yes, will this be fixed any time soon?

^^^^ Are you sure you saved it because that shouldn't have happened after a reboot...

Another strange thing is, that when I save it, it adds several letters to my username and clears my password when I go back in

The letters are: aHVtYmVuaTE


I already saw your (very nice) thread but my problem was not on the list. Ok, I will reinstall everything and hope for the best.

Wow, what a shame ! If I was a director of software development department I would let go the team which put out such crappy update. Product has been on the market for years, and you still can't get your s*&%t together ? My a200 now performs even worst than it did before. Volume all screwed up, can't connect to torrent trackers, audio playback of flac crashes all the time.

I would never buy your product again, that's how I'll fight software development mediocrity.

I just reinstalled the old good FW and everything works again!

So you just downgraded or did you actually do the whole recovery and then reupgrade?

I removed the Harddrive and made a factory reset. Afterwards I just installed the old FW (previous version)
